Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. (2) The licensee shall safely dispose of water and any disinfectants/solutions that have been used for cleaning. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. While touring the facility at 8:58 A.M. LPA observed a bucket filled with used green solution chemical near the entrance of the main building for classrooms M111, M114, and M117 which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Buildings and Grounds (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. While touring the facility at 8:58 A.M. LPA observed three storage sheds that were unlocked. Inside the sheds, LPA observed a saw, hammer, screw drivers, wood sealer, paint, WD40, and janitorial supplies that read "WARNING Keep Out of Reach of Children." The sheds are located near the entrance of the main building building. LPA observed the gate separating rooms Y100, Y105, Y107, and Y109 from the main building was open which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. This requirement was not met as evidenced by LPAs observation of living spiders, webs and spider eggs observed on the playground equipment where the children play daily. This poses a risk to the children in care.
