101226.2 Isolation for Illness (a) A center shall be equipped to isolate and care for any child who becomes ill during the day. This requirement is not met as evidence by: The director stated that she will have a meeting with infant/toddler staff to discuss the facility plan around isolation for children, and submit a staff sign in/out of the meeting, by 10/08/2021. Based on staff interviews, it was determined that C1 was recorded with a temperature of 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit and was not taken to the isolation room, but kept separated in the classroom from the other children in care for 20 minutes until another teacher in the classroom came back from their break. This poses a potential health and safety to the children in care.
Correction / follow-up note
