Buildings and Grounds (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. (2) Firearms and other weapons shall not be allowed on or stored on the premises of a child care center. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. At 8:30 AM LPA met with a security guard standing at the gates to the school. Security guard walked LPA to the preschool office. LPA observed security guard had a weapon and asked him what his role at the facility is. Security guard stated that he patrols the premises which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
