Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation. During inspection of Orange Classroom, LPA observed a cabinet drawer that was completely broken off from one of the hinges. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

This requirement was not met, as evidenced by LPA observation that children were not wearing face coverings during inside activities per CDPH guidelines for COVID-19 in Childcare facilities. Director stated they have been leaving it up to parent’s to decide whether their child should wear a face covering while in care. Staff were wearing face coverings. This poses a potential risk to the Health, Safety, and Personal Rights of children in care.
