The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA observation and staff interview, a potty chair was present outside on the playground while children were present in an area accesible to children. After two children used the potty, LPA observed no staff immediately remove the potty to clean it. During interviews, staff 1, 2, 3, and 5 stated that the potty is used when there are not enough staff in ratio to bring children inside to the bathroom.

Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training.
