Personal Rights: (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded with the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodation, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: During Interviews P4 disclosed that Licensee provides care in the garage of the home, after being told by Los Angeles Fire Department and Child Care Licensing does not permit use of the garage as a daycare space. Per P4 there is no air conditioning in the garage, resulting in their child being sweaty and experiencing discomfort. This possesses an immediate risk to health and safety to children in care. During Interviews P4 disclosed that Licensee provides care in the garage of the home.
