Safety precautions shall include but not be limited to: (1) Fireplaces and open-face heaters shall be screened to prevent access by children. The home shall contain a fire extinguisher and smoke detector device which meet standards established by the State Fire Marshal. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the Licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having the fire extinguisher serviced annually, Licensee stated last serviced in 2019. LPA did not observe a service tag on fire extinguisher and arrow leaning towards red at time of inspection; this poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
