Personnel Requirements (c) The licensee and other personnel as specified shall complete training on preventive health practices, including pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA Calderon's observation during record review for Licensee, staff #2 and staff #3, did not see the correct pediatric CPR/First aid that is in compliance with Licensing Title 22 Regulations , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in [3] out of [3] staff persons which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Staffing Ratio and Capacity- The capacity specified on the license shall be the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time. This requirement was not met as evidenced by interview and record review, it was discovered that on the second week of February between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:00pm: 13 preschool, at least 7 school age and two infants. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Availability of information regarding detecting and reporting child abuse and neglect; training for mandated reporter who is licensed day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility; proof of completion. During file review, Licensee, staff #1, #2 was unable to provide proof of a current mandated reporter training certificate. This is a potential risk to Health and Safety to children and infant in care.
