Buildings and Grounds: The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: LPAs own observations and interviews conducted, the facility has insects such as cockroaches, ants and spiders. Pest control services are conducted once a month for minor services. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
Disaster and Mass Casualty Plan (d) Disaster drills shall be conducted at least every six months. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
