Additional health and safety training; condition of licensure 1596.866 Additional health and safety training; condition of licensure (d) Completion of the training required pursuant to subdivisions (a) and (b) shall be demonstrated, upon request of the licensing agency, by the following: (1) Current pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR course completion cards issued by the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or by a training program approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority pursuant to Section 1797.191. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to Staff #2 being left to singularly care for children and not having an EMSA approved pediatric CPR course certification which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
