Criminal Record Clearance (d) All individuals subject to a criminal record review ...shall prior to working, residing, or volunteering...(1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department….This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on interviews, Licensee allowed adult 1(A1) to provided care and supervision for Child 1, while licensee dropped another child off at preschool. A1 does not have a California criminal clearance as required to care for children. This poses an immediate Health, Safety, Personal Rights risk to persons in care. Civil penalties issued.
