This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having one person in the large family child care that has an approved CPR and First Aid certification which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. citation: (1) Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866 provides in part: (b) A licensee of a large family day care home shall ensure that at least one person who has a current certificate in pediatric first aid and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation shall be available at all times when children are present at the facility, or when children are off-site of the facility for facility activities.
