The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: The dog is now old enough and currently attending Autism/Psychiatric Service Dog Training with Blue Light Canine Foundation. The Director will conduct In-Service training with staff with emphasis on Personal Rights and on how to interact with the dogs and Based on interviews of the staff and the child, the facility failed to provide safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations and the child did not like the dog jumping on them and during a later time when the chld noticed the dog behind a gate, became emotional. ensure the safety and well-being of the children. The Director will provide a copy of the training agenda and sign-in sheet to LPA no later than 11/14/2023.
