Buildings and Grounds (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. (1) Storage areas for poisons shall be locked. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in Class room #1 and the kitchen had chemicals accessible to the children that were removed but the lock was broken in the classroom and the kitchen needed to have a lockable storage area which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Buildings and Grounds. The childcare center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times. This requirement was not met as evidenced by the director provided LPA Alemoh with a work order from a Heating and Air Conditioning company indicating the work order being placed on December 8, 22 and fixed on December 20, 22.Temperatures in the classroom ranged from 60 to 61 degrees. Children that were in care during this period did not show any signs of illness. This is a type B deficiency which poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to day care children in care.
