Report finding
Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived… To be treated with dignity in his/her personal relationship with staff and other persons. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: interviews conducted between 11/08/23- 01/17/24, the licensee did not meet the Personal rights of children in care. As evidence by child C1 was hit by child C2, which poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.

Report finding
The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times...the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise the children during his/her absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Corroborating statements indicating that Licensee sits and watches television and rests and S1 works on computer during facility operating hours, which poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.
