This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on Child Records reviewed at 03:34pm, LPA observed that C1 was missing immunization records on file. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above for C1 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Administration of Child Day Care Licensing (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on facility record reviews, the licensee and S1 where missing AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificates. Licensee and S1 did not comply with the section cited above which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived… To be treated with dignity in his/her personal relationship with staff and other persons. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: interviews conducted on 10/02/23 indicating that licensee and S1 yell when children are not listening, hurting children’s ears and making them feel unsafe. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.
