102423(a)(2) Personal Rights. Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged by the licensee regardless of consent or authorization from the child's authorized representative. These rights include, but are not limited to, the following: To receive safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, interviews, the facility is using a room tht is primarily used for storage as a space for an infant to nap in a playpen. There are multiple shoes on racks in the same room creating a potential hazard. If not properly secured, these shoes could fall and potentially cause an injury to a child. This is a type B citation which has a potential health and safety risk to the children in care
