Criminal Record Clearance (d) All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility: (1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department or This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review and LPA's observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as today, LPA found that the licensee's adult daughter (Adult #1), who was present today and is a resident of the home, has not been fingerprint cleared as required. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. A civil penalty was assessed.

A large family day care home may provide care for more than 12 children and up to and including 14 children, if all of the following conditions are met: No more than three infants are cared for during any time when more than 12 children are being cared for. This requirement was not met as evidenced by information obtained by LPA. On 8/12/21, Licensee reported to CCLD that she had been out of ratio on a few occasions in June of 2021. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
