- Daily Inspection for Illness. The licensee shall develop and implement a written inspection procedure that shall include the following: No child shall be accepted without contact between center staff and the person bringing the child to the center. The licensee shall require that the person bringing the child to the center remain until the child is accepted. After the child has been determined to be without obvious signs of illness and has been accepted, the center shall require that the person sign the child in. This requirement was not met as evidenced by the center director admitting that they are not conducting daily physical inspections of the children, looking for scratches, bruise's, etc. nor is there any procedure in place or being documented. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
