Written Directives for Lead Testing (b) All licensed Child Care Centers operating in buildings constructed before January 1, 2010, shall test their water for lead pursuant to these written directives. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed that water used for drinking and food preparation is provided through a water filtration system that is not separate from the building. The facility was unable to provide documentation showing the facility was tested for lead which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Staffing-- Parent-Cooperative Centers (b) There shall be at least one staff member or participating parent present for each five children in attendance. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above Site supervisor has other duties which require her attention throught out the facility. Aides may care for infants while directly supervised by a fully qualifed teacher. There is only one fully qualifed infant teacher not meeting requirement for two classrooms, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
